Community Involvement:

Here at Singh, we are proud to support the Alzheimer’s Association. As the owner and manager of several Senior Living Communities, we work closely with Alzheimer’s patients and their families through our Memory Care services, and are committed to improving their lives.

For over a decade, Singh has been dedicated to fighting Alzheimer’s disease by providing support for the Alzheimer’s Association. Singh raises money for the Alzheimer’s Association through several ways, including educational workshops, employee initiatives such as Casual for a Cause, the Chocolate Jubilee, and Memory Walk.

Since 2001, Singh has sponsored the Chocolate Jubilee, an event for contributors to the Alzheimer’s Association. We support the event by hosting a table in the chocolate tasting room, and Singh chefs from our Waltonwood Senior Living prepare their most indulgent desserts.

Perhaps our favorite event is the annual Walk to End Alzheimer’s, the nation's largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer care. Every August, our entire company goes above and beyond to raise money for the event, and all employees, family members and friends participate in the annual walk.

Green Initiatives:

In an ongoing effort to reduce our impact on the environment, Singh has developed several “green” initiatives at our apartment communities, including:

• Moving toward paperless administrative and record-keeping systems to save trees and limit waste sent to landfills
• Using products with natural or recycled components in new development projects wherever possible
• Updating projects with new technologies that conserve energy
• Focusing on reducing consumptive water use by integrating new water-saving procedures in our operations

We are committed to sustainability within the environment and our communities, and have an ongoing committee devoted to seeking out and adapting new green initiatives. Look for more exciting developments to come!
